Lancashire County Council seeks to ensure that as many 3 and 4 year old children as possible are offered 15 hours of nursery education.

LCC Nursery School Education
Basnett Street Nursery School offer up to 15 hours per week of provision. This is delivered either in the morning or afternoon sessions. The allocation process for nursery places is undertaken by the nursery school following LCC admission criteria. If you wish to apply for a nursery place for your child, you should contact the nursery directly. If there is not an available place, you will be placed on the waiting list.
Admission to Nursery
We are now registering new children. To avoid disappointment please come and visit our outstanding nursery and complete the registration form to secure your child's place September Term. Application forms are available from the nursery and should be returned to the school with your child's birth certificate any supporting documentation as soon as possible.
Basnett Street Nursery School in partnership with The Chatterbox Club can offer:
- 16 places x 30 hour sessions through joint working with The Chatterbox Club.

- Enter the link: www.lancashire.gov.uk/schools
Press ‘apply for a school place for September (on the right hand side) - Press ‘apply for a Primary School place.
- Scroll down to 3 and press ‘start your application’.
- Register to apply online (you must have an email address)
